On 12th October, the EFESO team took on the Chicago Marathon, running to raise funds for World Vision, an organisation dedicated to ending the global water crisis and bringing clean water to children and communities around the world.
Solvace was honoured to sponsor and support this initiative, standing alongside EFESO and many others who came together to turn collective effort into lasting impact.
Together, the goal was to raise €40,000 to help provide safe and sustainable water access where it’s needed most.
A Shared Commitment to Positive Impact
For Solvace, supporting this initiative goes beyond sponsorship. It reflects a shared belief that excellence also means taking responsibility, standing behind people and causes that drive real, positive change.
This partnership with EFESO highlights the power of community and collaboration to create tangible impact, both within and beyond the industry.
An Inspiring Achievement
After months of preparation, the EFESO runners successfully completed the Chicago Marathon, demonstrating endurance, dedication, and purpose.
With the support of donors and partners, the team helped raise over €29,000 to fund Team World Vision’s clean water programmes. Every contribution brings families and children closer to one of life’s most essential resources: safe, reliable access to water.
“Running the Chicago Marathon is an incredible experience”, said Steve Haller, EFESO’s partner and Captain of the Team. “Combining the running with a charity makes it life changing! Every mile we run is one less mile that a child has to walk for filthy, disease infested water.”
Solvace congratulates all the runners on this incredible achievement and is proud to have played a part in supporting their journey.
