Sales Manager UK & IrelandRemote position – Based in the UK or Ireland

To further our growth in the UK & Ireland, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of identifying, managing and closing large (€1-€5m+) complex, international deals. A pure Sales hunter!

What will you do – acquire and grow!

Responsibilities

  • Selling the Solvace platform within the UKI territory 
  • Manage the entire (complex) sales cycle from lead gen through to enterprise contract, including; 
    • qualifying in-bound leads 
    • outbound campaigns in partnership with business development 
    • Delivering early-stage product demonstrations 
    • Setting up trials with CS partners 
    • Negotiating contracts and agreements and operating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to each opportunity 
  • This means that your focus will be mainly on hunting – identifying and nurturing sales opportunities in mid to large scale manufacturing organizations, targeting Operational Excellence functions, as well as production, operations, IT etc 
  • As you grow your customer base, you will be expected to develop these accounts working in partnership with Customer Success. This includes developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders across multiple SBUs  
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Customer Success…) to guarantee the customer experience. 
  • Work closely together with the Commercial director of Solvace to hit the set targets and to keep our customers satisfied and engaged in the long run. 
  • Develop a Sales plan for the UKI territory, including intelligent targeting, aligned with Marketing and business development efforts. 
  • Weekly / monthly / quarterly pipeline reporting through HubSpot and to relevant exec stakeholders, including forecasting and tracking of key sales metrics.

Experience & Requirements

Experience 

  • At least 10 years’ experience carrying a sales quota, with a demonstrable track record of success. Proven experience, preferably in an autonomous sales role, managing a large region with a focus on hunting and taking on increasing responsibilities.
  • Experience in selling into industrials, with an understanding of operational and supply chain processes. 
  • Experience in leveraging digital tools such as HubSpot, MS Teams, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and others.
  • Comfortable in demonstrating SaaS software on the web and Mobile. 
  • Experience in working with SaaS startup / scale-up 

  Requirements 

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Based in the United Kingdom or Ireland with the right to work.
  • We are looking for a very ambitious individual, a self-starter who is results-driven.
  • Selling a new solution in an immature market is not easy – we need someone who can create a market, create a portfolio of major deals.
  • Nice to have – experience in the industrial world, knowledge of operational excellence and supply chain, or digital transformation.
  • Ideally, have a network in the  UK & Ireland of VP and C-level Operations execs in large manufacturing companies.
  • Being able to work most of the time from home, with the flexibility to travel in the UK and EMEA regularly.
